This is my favorite blog post and collaboration this year because it is from something I actually love dearly. I started blogging for fun and I got serious this year with my personal style blogging. I have so much in store for the blog and I am always happy to collaborate with different people but if it’s anything to do with helping the people in need , supporting people with certain diseases then I will never say no .
I was approached by Wambui about this campaign at the beginning of this month and I did not even think twice about working with her. And I don’t think I’ll ever think twice when it’s anything to do with a campaign that helps people . I was so inspired and I can’t wait to settle down and start working on the projects I have been keeping on hold too.
So the Nnancié campaign is a campaign that supports kids with leukemia incase you have no idea what leukemia is I will talk about it a little bit and thanks to google who helped me know more about it.
Leukemia is cancer of the body’s blood-forming tissues, including the bone marrow and the lymphatic system. Many types of leukemia exist. Some forms of leukemia are more common in children. Other forms of leukemia occur mostly in adults.Leukemia usually involves the white blood cells. Your white blood cells are potent infection fighters they normally grow and divide in an orderly way, as your body needs them. But in people with leukemia, the bone marrow produces abnormal white blood cells, which don’t function properly.
The Nnancié campaign has made t-shirts that are sold at only 1000 kshs that is around 20,000 tshs. Plus the t-shirts come in white and black ( as pictured on me) and when you buy a tshirt the proceeds go to the paediatric center at Kenyatta and Agha Khan Hospital in Nairobi , Kenya .
You guys have been such great supporters to my blog over the past months and I can never thank you enough , really !! Please support this campaign by purchasing a T-shirt of your choice of color and help save a child.#SupportingKidsWithLeukemia
