Postcards from Zanzibar

Postcards from Zanzibar

I woke up this morning reminiscing about my first very short stay in Zanzibar that took place in January. It was a work trip so it consisted of being extremely busy and not having time to do much but i managed to take a few shots on the last day since i woke up very early for a morning run ( only free time i had to explore the island)

I have a video that will go on my youtube channel any time now even tho it is short and doesn’t show all the crazy things that happened in the 32 hours that my colleague and i were there including walking around stone town for over two hours with our bags like two mad women looking for our hotel only to find it was shitty or rushing to catch our boat last minute because we were busy looking for Vanilla sticks and the very famous Ubuyu wa babu issa.

Overall it was one amazing , very busy trip  and i loved it! I  hope i will visit it again this year and actually explore the small but beautiful place without being in a rush to get into a meeting or worrying if the pitch will go well.  I hate to use this words nowadays but Zanzibar is very aesthetically pleasing!

I also visited the amazing Doreen Mashika Store because it was close to our hotel ( the decor is insane , i fell inlove with one T-shirt but i was in such a hurry i forgot to buy it, more shots of the store will be on the youtube video

Thank you guys for stopping by and reading this blog post , please let me know what place you would like to visit or have me visit.
