I’m always on Twitter and through that I have gained friends and acquaintances and yesterday I realized TOT ( Tanzanians on Twitter ) is more than just people who retweet your tweets and interact with you online, although we are always joking or bashing each other on the timeline yesterday I saw none of that it was a sad day for a lot of people. This weekend we lost a Tweep who always had a way of making you smile and laugh through his tweets and though we never talked I always Just saw his tweets on my timeline and from all the love shown yesterday on Twitter I wish I knew more about him before then, I wish I was able to interact more with him and learn and laugh as much as he made others do.But we can’t change that all we pray is that he rests in eternal peace and we are sure heaven has gained an angel .
Dear Hassan today they are laying you down to rest and although you are not with us anymore and we won’t be able to see your funny tweets or you won’t be able to make your friends and family laugh like you always do you will live in our hearts forever and thank you for showing us especially me one of the most important life lessons that I learnt through your passing. I have learnt to LIVE WELL WITH PEOPLE, make people smile in any way that you can, be there for the people that matter and try as hard as you can to just simply live well with people and even when you’re gone they will forever remember you and cherish the little relationship you had with them and find ways to even make people that didn’t know you be affected by how you lived your life. I tried logging in on Twitter earlier but I logged off because my heart breaks for the love and support I see the ( TOT family ) giving him and his family. I heard you liked Vanessa Mdee and you finally met her at the last Nyama Choma event and you couldn’t stop smiling, can you believe she’s tweeting about you right now ? You’re trending on Twitter and I’m sure you’re smiling and watching over and vexing at how famous you are and probably telling the Angels how much of a #wakishua you are. I wish it was on different circumstances that you would be trending but God knows best and we can’t change or question his doing as I told one of your friends who knew you and who was with you less than an hour before you passed away . He asked me, ” we were together at Mcity and then I am pushing him to the morgue, can someone help me understand that ? We cannot question his will but at least can we ask ourselves why? ” I was crashed by his words and more crashed because there’s no way we can begin to understand why anything happens . As I told him we should be thankful and happy for all the moments we got to know you and smile and work with you because that’s all that matters , holding and cherishing every memory they spent and had with you in their dear hearts.
So today as they finally lay your body to rest in peace we will forever remember all the amazing things you have done in your time on earth and wait for the day when we finally meet again and see you in a better place.Thank you for making me and many more people on Twitter learn , laugh and love more through you. Thank you for bringing the TOT family together in ways we never knew we could ,it won’t be the same without you but you’ll surely never be forgotten because you will still live through us everyday.
We also pray that April, the friend who was with you in the accident gets better and pray the news about your passing be easy on him for loosing such an amazing soul like you.
A girl who never met you and hardly knows anything about you but learnt something through you ❤️
